At Indian Curry Bowl, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when cancellations and refunds may be available for online orders and table bookings.
1. Food Orders
a) Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled only before preparation has started
Once an order has been accepted and food preparation has begun, cancellation may not be possible
To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately by phone.
b) Refunds
Refunds may be offered in the following situations:
Incorrect items delivered
Missing items from your order
Food quality issues reported promptly
Order cancelled before preparation begins
Refunds are not normally provided for:
Change of mind after food preparation has started
Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer
2. Reporting an Issue
If there is an issue with your order, please:
Contact us as soon as possible after delivery or collection
Provide your order number and details of the issue
Where possible, provide photos to help us investigate
We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
3. Refund Method & Timing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method
Refund processing times depend on your bank or payment provider
Please allow 3–7 working days for refunds to appear in your account
4. Table Bookings
a) Cancellations
Table bookings can be cancelled or amended by contacting us in advance
Failure to attend a booking without notice may affect future reservations
b) Deposits (if applicable)
If a deposit is required for large group bookings, cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking
Deposits may be non-refundable if cancelled within a short notice period
5. Allergies & Dietary Requests
Customers are responsible for informing us of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing an order.
Indian Curry Bowl cannot accept refund requests based on allergy concerns if this information was not communicated in advance.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional cases, we may offer:
Partial refunds
Store credit
Replacement items
These will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
7. Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
